In our ALL-member Meeting, Russ will give a potato field report. Russ will give a demonstration and presentation that may inspire you make a simple addition which may make a great difference in your health.
Sandra will discuss our class schedule for the rest of this year and all of next year. We appreciate your input as we work to bring classes to help you, your family, and your community be more self-reliant. |

Please come to our All-Member Meeting at Starry Garden Farm for a POTLUCK dinner.
Russ will give tours of our Food Forest Permaculture, our high tunnel greenhouse, our farm animals, farm buildings, wood shop and forge. We are allowing members to pick their own pole beans so you may be able to grow pole beans on arches or fences. You may bring Seeds to Share We will be sharing samples of foods from Food Storage Depot.

Our guest speaker will be David Woodard, a self-reliance expert.
David will be teaching freeze-drying in our garden kitchen. Billy Tiedeman will be selling bare-root, fruit-bearing bush trees for $2.00 each. He has:

Heber Valley Self-Reliance Fields of Crops Volunteers
2 FIELDS TO HOE

3.The Heber Center Street Road field planted in small red beans and cranberry beans, heritage sweet corn, butternut squash, spaghetti squash, Blue Hubbard squash, and pink banana squash.
The beans and corn were planted by farm machinery by Norman amd Russ. HVSR Members planted the four types of squash. The sunset was beautiful, the watermelon was refreshing, and the people were wonderful. We all lingered. This field, the Center Street field was our field planted in potatoes last summer. 1350 East Center Street Heber City We will hoe this field, which is not so challenging Wednesday, July 17 at 7:00 to 9:00.

Jeremy is in charge of organizing and directing county-wide preparations for emergencies such as earthquake, flooding, chemical spills, etc. Because of his training and background, Jeremy is helping many counties and cities in Utah prepare their own ememergency plans. B B
