Our Prepared Environment and nurturing guides support

8:00 - 8:30  Arrival & Morning Welcome
​     Children arrive, settle in, put lunch, coats and shoes away, and choose meaningful work at their own pace

8:30 - 9:00  Morning Circle:
      We gather, as a community, to sing, share, learn, and set intentions for the day and week.

9:00 - 11:00   Work Cycle 1
     Focused, uninterrupted time for children to explore Montessori materials and hands-on learning

11:00 - 11:15 Snack & Conversation
     Healthy Snack, practical life skills, and conversation together with guides and friends

11:15 - 12:00  Enrichment & Lessons
​     Small group lessons in areas such as language, math, science, art, and cultural studies

12:00 - 1:00  Lunch & Outdoor Play
     We share a nourishing meal and practice grace and gratitude with friends and guides

1:00 -1:30 Quiet Time
     Rest, nap on a mat or reading, and peaceful activities to recharge our minds and bodies

1:30 - 3:00  Work Cycle 2
     Children return to their work using Montessori tools or explore new interests and challenges

3:00 - 3:30  Outdoor Exploration
     Everyone goes outside for outdoor exploration for fresh air, movement, and connection with nature

3:30 - 4:00  Closing Circle & Goodbyes
     We reflect on our day, express gratitude, and say goodbye to our guides and friends
